The cost of a Practical Car Test is £62 daytime Mon to Fri and £75 evenings and weekends.
You will firstly be asked to read a car number plate at a distance of 20 metres
You will also be asked two questions on general car checks, a "show me" question and a "tell me" question.

Your Practical Car test will last approximately 40 minutes, within that time you will be asked to complete a 10 minute Independent Drive and one of the four main manoeuvres you have learned. Reversing into a side road, Reverse parallel parking, Reversing into a parking bay or Turning the car in the road. You may also be asked to carry out an emergency stop exercise.
You can make up to 15 less serious drive faults before failure, but no serious or dangerous driver faults.
So be adequately prepared and follow your Driving Instructor advice.
